Default grandsons tying

My grandson (8 in december) asked if he could tie a fly on his own, hes been doing some with me for a few weeks so I told him to tie away.
Im so proud of what he produced and couldnt believe his effort.
Well done josh

Very tidy fly, I'm impressed. Interesting colour combo too. You better keep an eye on your stuff cos you've got competition!

Nice fly for a young man of 8. My first effort was poor by comparison.

Its great the colours they combine.
My daughters were the same, strange cosmic mixes of colour.
I let them get on with it.
Didn't think it was for me to tell them what was right or wrong. You never know they might have stumbled onto a winning new combination.

First class first attempt young man
