Default How many coats HAN?

Hi all, I've been tying bloodworms with globrite No4 for the body. How many coats of Hard as nails do you use? So far I'm up to 6 and they just look better and better.

Pretty much just as many as it takes, keep it thin and you can get about 8 coats on some flies

Thanks for the prompt reply. It's a new bottle so it is very thin. I think I'll leave some at 6 coats and carry on with some of the others until I think they look overdone. I leave it a couple of hours between coats and they look glassy to my eyes.
