Default Clear epoxy

Just a quick observation. For my Salt Water baitfish patterns I usually finish off with 5 minute epoxy as it's fairly inert in seawater. Recently to avoid the 'yellowing' of the resin with age I swapped to the newer formula used to repair glass and ceramics which is guaranteed to remain clear. Unfortunately I've noticed whilst giving the new patterns a swim at my local docks that this stuff goes cloudy when exposed to saltwater, makes all my baitfish patterns look like they have cataracts. I think the next batch will have to have a few coats of varnish over the epoxy to see if this will cure the problem.

I have been looking at the UV cure resins and it's something I may eventually go for, at the moment it's the cost that's putting me off.
