Default euro hackle

Hi all,

Do any of you know the necks of the brand "Euro hackle"? What about the quality?

Thank you for your opinion

Patrick

"Euro Hackle" is a range of saddles from Whiting, they are described as

"Long slightly tapered feathers, in a range of colours" They are shown as size range 10 to 12 and recommended for "steelhead, striper bass, salmon, dry flies and streamers"

I know they are very popular with the continental salmon anglers. They also have a saltwater following ni the states.
For trout fishing they have a very limited application.
As with all Whiting feathers the quality is fine. However I have seen some saddles sold as Euro Hackle which are clearly not Whiting packaged. It is possible they were bought in bulk for tying and are then being sold on , but to be sure always go for the properly packaged feathers.

I believe thay have currently discontinued this line in order to provide feather packs for the hairdressers.

Cheers

Chris (Whiting Pro Team)

Cheers
