Default OK getting brave now

Well here is another i tried out this morning... Yes i am getting brave now lol...

Try leaving a small space before the eye to do your head . I was doing the same as you and was tying the materials too near the eye if you know what I mean . Leave a wee gap and you will have room for the head and it will be much neater

Thanks guys,

Fishfinger, Yes i see what you mean and makes alot of sense and also will help with the whip finish too i guess as this is what i have been doing on all my flys and then i am not able to finish. I will try that later and let you know how i get on.

Just tried starting a bit further back with this one..

Yes it wants neatening up but i was thinking of the head more than anything on this one.

I think you are trying to run before you can walk. Lets see a simple tye, such as a black and peacock spider or a red tag. Get the basics first, such as proportions of body, head ect, this will pay dividends in the end. I should know i was guilty of it my self when i started

Not bad fly's but i would have to agree with the last post go back to basics and start on something simple mate .
