and a blob of Blue Tac

Blue Tac ----- Herl ------ Finger

Use rubber in one direction away from you towards base of herl

So much easier than the can of petrol, live peacock and match technique which also gets the RSPB in a flap !!!!!

If your wife or lady frirend has any Veet that does a quick job, too and don,t need to mess around with erasers. Only problem is the smell.

If you use the rubber method it's defo better to use to use a firm plastic one.
Mine is an old translucent amber coloured Staedtler. I lost my old ink rubber which was excellent for the job!

Search the forum here. It has been covered umpteen times. I prefer to do a whole eye at a time with bleach.

I do too, but there are always a few stubborn fibres that require friction.
