Default Claret Bumble 2012

Just starting to replenish stocks of a few standard patterns for next season. Not a great departure from the original, as the idea is to keep it pretty 'standard', I've just swapped the standard tail for 'O.P.', and the Jay for blue grizzle. Anyway, here's how the 2012 Claret Bumble looks....

Click the image to open in full size.

Hook: B175 sizes 8,10,12 or 14.
Butt: Flat gold
Tail: GP Tippets dyed 'Orkney Peach'.
Rib: Oval gold
Body: Seals fir mix: Equal amounts of 'Ant Black' Black claret, and claret.
Body Hackle: Claret cock
Shoulder Hackle: Grizzle hen dyed 'Silver Doctor Blue'
Thread: UTC 70 den - 'Wine'.

Very nice Rob I like it alot, nice and simple by design and good mixing of colours going on (not that I can see them) but it sounds good Kamasan B174 Rob? is this a new hook by kamasan? looks similar to the B175 maybe just a bit lighter eh...............shows ya what I know about hooks

Aye, deffo, Andy. I prefer the shade, it's a doddle whacking the stuff on, and it's softer/more mobile than Jay.
