Default hen

I am looking for hen hackle dyed burnt orange to tie wet flies not looking for the big feathers looking for the smaller ones,does this mean i will have to buy the genetic ones if anybody knows were i can get these i would be very greatful. i have found a couple of suppliers of the genetic ones but they are in america not sure if they can post it because of bird flu.

Why not e-mail them and ask?

i thought bird flu was a thing of the past by now, not heard anything of it since swine flu...

You will find that a lot of the capes in this country are imported.
