Default diawl bachs

i posted a picture a few days back of one of my first attempts at tying a diawl bach. the general thinking was that the body was a bit bushy so i had another go, this time only using one peacock herl.

Hi Bob, nowt much wrong wi them . tail is a little long on the first one. The second one looks bang on for proportions. I like the beard length the same length as the body . Good job, keep at it. You better tie a few of these as the trout,s teeth can shred the holo rib.ell done

Better hook choice on the second one, also, try some db's without the beard Bob -

I'd be happy to categorise it as a db without the beard
