Hi, for a skinny dabbler would you use any hackle or just a fur body? Found a picture in Stan´s bible and it seems a non hackle version. Thanks for your help. Bobby

For a 'skinny' look you could use well picked out body fur OR strip one side of the body hackle off and hackle down the body in light open turns. I prefer the second approach as it isn't too heavily dressed and still has great movement and life in the water. I'm sure the trout won't mind either way!
