Default Black marauder

No not a 1960's american car but another dabbleresque fly but I'm still floating around the edges of dabblerism, i THINK might be something to do with the BM. Tied on a kamasan B175 size 10.

Black marauder

Thread - brown
Tail - bronze mallard
Body - black seals fur
Rib - fine silver wire
Palmered hackle - black cock hackle
Neck hackle - cree
Cloaked sparsely with bronze mallard

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome

cheers

mark

Sorry Alex had to rush off last nght and didn't get time to answer your question. Well yes it could be a dabbler but I didn't consider there to be enough bronze mallard on it and the tail could have perhaps been slightly longer. maybe some would consider it a dabbler and oters wouldn't, don't know that much on them to be honest but i'm aware of the basics, I think if it had a heavier dressing of BM I would feel more confident in calling it a dabbler.

'Fraid not, Mark. You've been well and truly sucked in to the eye of the storm. It's a dabbler alright. A very fine one too.
