Default Alternative to tawny owl for wing
I want to tie up some ffestiniog style welsh patterns for next time I'm there. Quite a few patterns use tawny owl feather for the wings. Anyone got any ideas for an alternative wing material?

turkey would be pretty close,but might be a bit to thick for what you want.

Hen Pheasant outers would make a near match use the secondary feathers
