Default A few recent flies

Here are 2 grey duster variants tied on a #20 (just enjoying some silver badger hackle now that the drought is over in the US) and a generic wet caddis (gold holo tinsel, herl and hen pheasant). All comments welcome
Hugh

Both excellent Hugh. The one on the right will serve you well for when the duns are drifting down and the one on the left will be a good midge fake.

Badger makes such a good hint at a thorax!

Thanks all for the feedback. I agree wholeheartedly about the impression of the thorax with the badger. It's funny how few US patterns use badger at all, and I have only started tying with it, since following Richardw's SBS and blog. The reverse hackling and reinforcing also helps. If I keep at this another 30 years, I might get the wings right, however Wingman's SBS had made a difference!
