Ooooooooo so true. The Silver Salars are my fav. hook; no close second. But 'if,' and I do say 'if,' you can find them on my fair shores be prepared to pay between $1.50 to $1.85 PER HOOK. But a fish just touches the things ... you've got him.

Inexpensive 'second place' are the Mashama hooks.

There should be plenty of stock of Salars now.
Bulk deliveries arrived a couple of months ago and i know Partridge have been sending out back orders.

The price has been £7.99 a pack for a while.
Remember that its the only part of the outfit that catches a fish.
Also compare the price to other premium hook brands like loop and guideline and also ken sawada which are all around the same sort of price.
