Default Dubbing containers

Can I ask what you keep your dubbings in ?
I have dozens and dozens of the stuff, only last week I bought 10 colours of `ice dubbing` I end up with drawers ,boxes and wee bags full of the stuff.
I thought of coin collectors pockets ,any ideas?
Bob

5 litre Really Useful Box Internal dimensions: 285 x 160 x 105

A packet of Superfine dubbing, for example, is 123mm x72mm

File them all in...

Personally I use zip lock bags, but will probably have to find an alternative as I get more.

How about this? It has small holes in the top to take the dubbing out, you can fill all the separate little compartments with different colours then re-fill when one of them runs out - Empty Dubbing Dispenser – Glasgow Angling Centre

Hope this helps, James

Those are the worst things ever invented for stuff like Superfine. If you have bought packets, no sense putting them in another dispenser box.

I use a C.D. case with approximately 36 wallets in it you can open it like a book when not in use just zip it up and store it.

Just got some little boxes with little compartments in. Same as when you buy boxes of dubbing from the shops.
There were different sizes available and cost about 1.50 from tesco...in the tool dept. I also found very similar boxes in hobby craft for about 2quid.

Drill holes in the bottom of each section so that you can pull it out without opening the tub. It also sits flat if you drill the bottom and not the top.

OK, never actually owned one, or superfine dubbing, are the fibres shorter or something? but for stuff like seals fur or different dubbing with a similar texture they should work well

Those boxes are great for superfine, as it's lots of long fibres wound into a spiral so they stay together. With seals fur you often have to dig around with the hook of a whip tool to draw it out of the hole, especially if it isn't packed tight in the compartment. You can just flip the lid open instead though!
