Default Eagle Owl Fly

Eagle Owl feathers are not easy to come by, but they make for some great looking emergers. Just imagine how mobile and vulnerable are these going to appear...
A true grayling delight.

Nice looking flies but we would be shot for using Eagle Owl feathers.

Thanks guys, the coin is pretty common over here - half crown was legal tender till two or three years ago and is still widely used by card players. The owl feathers come from a sanctuary for wounded birds, where a small donation got me 2 feathers = several years supply.

I tied these flies with Jizera grayling in my mind - I am heading that way over this coming weekend. A few jolly Scottish fishermen are coming over + reliable reports tell me that over by the whisker's place the splashes from rising fish are so loud that they can be heard from a passing car even with windows shut and radio playing. I can hardly wait

Cheers!

Its P, but samostatně hospodařící - that's why there are still some quality fish left there. Its a small riffle world renowned for elderly topless sunbathers who take great delight in embarrassing visiting UK fishermen
