Question Celtic Flycraft

Does anybody have regular dealings with this company? I sent a list of requirements a week ago asking for prices (about £250) and despite having a couple of pleasant chats on the 'phone I've still not had any sort of reply back. I picked them as I particularly wanted to try the range of Knabek barbless hooks, so asked them to supply everything else as well. I could have ordered on-line direct from knabek, but I thought that I'd buy from the UK.

Mistake?

Nice chap, shame about the service. Sorry to be blunt but you could be in for a long wait. Don't expect a response to emails/messages either. I won't use them again for that reason.

I'll drop them (him) another email to say don't bother, you're obviously too busy to be interested in my £250 and I'll place it directly with the Czeck manufacturer.
What a shame for UK businesses.

My sympathies. I,ve dealt with him once and that was enough for me. I ordered a pack of coq de leon feathers-too eight weeks it took, but my persistence paid off-this after it was twice claimed the items had already been sent. Not much for customer services this firm.

...and me!

Perhaps give him another call and aim to express your distaste in a reasonable way ... the fella is human, perhaps doesn't realise he's missing the mark?

...he might have an inbox like mine; I get 50 e-mails by lunch time every day, despite unsubscribing and using spam filters etc.

A £250 'enquiry' ? - hmm, I get 'enquiries' a bit like that, people who turn out to be searching the world to save themselves a percent but happy to have you spend a day advising them ... yep, perhaps he's sussed that people who have a tendency to dis' folks on forums are not worth the time and effort?

Empathy, empathy ... they've all got it infamy!
