Default Two new flies...

Here are the two new flies that I learned at the fly dressing guild lessons in Ripley, with the brilliant tuition of John Smith. Here is what I came up with, The Hare's ear spider, and a shipmans buzzer

I am very proud of my hare's ear spider, I don't think the picture is half as good as it looks in real life, I think one of my best so far

The shipmans buzzer isn't two bad either I ties two of these, the first one went quite wrong so I won't disgrace the forum with it

Thanks for looking and I hope you liked them!

James

Crackers James. I prfer my shipmans a little more bushy\rough in the body. Brush the fur with velcro before ribbing to get the result you want.

Very nice.
One wee tip if I may, tie around half a dozen of your chosen pattern, and when you cant tell the difference between the first and the last then you have nailed it.
