well im going for two weeks next year. need to stock up on muddlers.

Im led to believe that that the combination on this particular fly doesn't work in Orkney and needs to go a bit further North to achieve its potential so rather than stripping all the hooks

a man of your talents kev can rattle that up no probs. dont think it would work on spiggie with a di7.

For orkney have plenty of bright muddlers, davie mchail did an orkney muddler so buy some red, pink, yellow and orange deer hair, have plenty of hutchs and peterson pennes, magentaa slicks, bumbles with straggle fritz, dabblers with straggle fritz and all the general loch patterns. Good luck and cracking fly.
