How to ty a proper Hedgehog

now that I know what the difference is between a Sedgehog and a Hedgehog

I´d like to know how to tie a proper Hedgehog. I tried a few but the hair is always sliding down he opposite side of the hook. Makes flies that look good until you turn the vice

Is it just practice?

pinch the deerhair on top of the hook shank, and tie the butts down TIGHT before releasing the tips, then tie over the tie in point, and back over the tips slightly with looser wraps with dubbling to keep them in place, if the dubbing turns are tight they may draw the deerhair to the far side of the hook.

Shrek, tried it and it works much better now. Tied up my first decent hedgehog tonight. Thanks, Chris
