Default Hends quill body

Picked up a new material, for me, and thought I would give it a try. It is a printed sheet of some kind of soft, sticky backed plastic, not unlike insulating tape. Slightly stretchy and easy to form a segmented body with.
Don't think it will beat real stripped peacock quill but nice just the same.
What do you think?

No it is quite narrow and comes on spools and basically gives you an efect much like a stripped quill but a bit flatter. The times I have used stripped quills I have varnished over it but haven't with the Hends quill as it is quite strong.

Here are the hends body quill material:

Flytying Boutique - for unusual and interesting materials

It is a single colour, very narrow mylar braid style material - the more layers you wrap, the deeper the colour.

The patterned material as from Maharg's superb emerger pattern is here:

Flytying Boutique - for unusual and interesting materials

Patterned, very thin pre cut strips on a backing card - really easy to use and very strong.

Kind regards.
