Tying a few wee lures for the winter months, mainly Humungus derivatives and came up with a Shuggy/Muddler hybrid. Not sure if it's been done before, but I like it

Oh, and it's my first ever Muddler too.

Thoughts?

Not keen on the tail, Gary, but love the transition from deer hair to grizzle/cree.

Nicely done.

Try mixing black and white Marabou for the tail Gary... will blend nicely with the fly, and the two-tone mix also exaggerates the illusion of movement.

I'll give the white/black marabou a try this evening, see how it comes out.
