I know that cats whiskers should have a bead or bead chain eyes, but this is a first, and I have no beads, it was more practice and an experiment than anything.

Thanks for looking and I hope you liked them, James

not bad james you can see you are getting better every fly you post
i like the suspender buzzer your proportions are spot on' you just need to be a bit neater with your varnish. start off with a thin coat then add another once the first has fully dried. i usually apply 4 coats on my buzzers.
go onto youtube and watch davie mcphail he'll show you hows it's done

Thanks for the comments, the varnish prblem may be because I am using my mum's nail varnish at the moment, have not been able to get any proper varnish yet.

Thanks again, much appreciated James

Nail varnish is nail varnish

All you need do is add a little drop of nail varnish remover to the bottle and thin it down a touch.

Thanks BK, much appreciated, here is one more on request from x dave x, or Dave, Shipmans Rottweiler, made from rottweiler hair dubbing that he was kind enough to send me along with a few other materials.

Hope you like, could be better as it was a bit rushed.

Your doing really well mate! on lures with wings try to match the length of the wing with the tail, thorax on buzzers still a little large, i tied loads of buzzers and thought all was well until i saw a pic on here of them and saw straight away how out of proportion they were, keep it up mate, ian

Nice flies James. Glad to see you're a real innovator already using dubbing material easy to hand. I've used hair from my cats for quite a while now and they work very well. Keep practising!
