don't go for the cheap stuff mate, it's fiddly to use and uravels at the ends very easily. i use the utc stuff which is not bad and a not to exspensive.
the best stuff to get is lagartun but is very pricey

I was looking at the lagartun on ebay, Lakeland want £3 shipping for a spool!
It's cheap stuff I have and you are correct, it's coming apart.

Yep, agree with Fortbhoy - UTC. Good quality and good price.
I stopped buying anything from Lakeland, £3 p&p is taking the p**s and I will not pay it.

I have had my UTC tinsel for a while and was a swap with a mate. It's nearly finished, so I'll be looking for new reels. Google will give suppliers or eBay?

The best was DMC for oval gold and silver, from craft/embroidery shops...top class! It was around a fiver for 100 metres...it's been probably 8yrs since I bought it as 100m goes a long way
