Golden anniversary winged wet

A wee bit of glitter and gold for a change here for those backend dull days that might just catch the eye of a late season trout before the rods are set to rest. Not sure if the name is appropriate, although I'm sure Midlander will put me right on this one...erm bit of an ard one this Alex. Tied on a kamasan B175 size 12.

Thanks wobbly, yes damage being the intention, I'm not really a fan of the glittery stuff but thought it would make a change so we'll see..

Beautiful! Love the colour harmony on this. It's a sure taker for whatever the trout think it is at the right time. Shrimp, corixa, sedge pupa etc.

Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback, I'll let you know how it does if i can get to the river in between thunderstorms, hurricanes and I believe snow on the way....ah perfect trout fishing weather.
