must be the hair, the pheremone thing is just myth, only brought about by mans inability to be outdone by a woman

It's true. Don't take my wife fishing any more. Had a job to tackle up once, I tackled up for her and she started fishing and started to catch fish. She's not very good with the landing net so I had to stop setting up to the land the fish, 4 fish later I banned her so I could just get set up.
Take note, the older women get, the less potent the phermones.

It ain't no myth there is far to much evidence documentary and testimonial in just about every human culture on earth about the effectivness of the feminine touch in catching fish.

Phil you cite one admittedly spurious example of itwas a woman catching a record salmon but be in no doubt that fish at time of capture was responding to a plethora of natural chemical signals.

How on earth do we imagine that a migratory salmonid finds its way from ocean to spawning ground of its own birth ?

As creatures we are almost oblivious to the the faint chemical signals that we respond unconsiously to in our everyday environment.

I am convinced about the femail pheromone link . This very afternoon I am working on a new still water pattern the "Muff Daddy".

I'm sure there's *something* in it - though it might only work for male fish.

One way to really test would be if you have a bit*ch (the canine kind). Wait for her to come into heat, then get some fur from near her vulva. Practically swimming in pure oestrogen.

I'd be surprised if no-one's tried this...
