Got bored..............

Well so much for taking a break from posting pics, my fly tying stuffs sorted and I got bored sitting around doin nowt so tied up a few hoppers for a change. A bit of artistic licence again here and I like my hopper legs long as I knotted them myself (skinflint). Tied on kamasan B175 size 12.
(can add recipes if needed).

Very tedious wobbly, I can do one a minute on average and thats with no needle thingy so I'm gettin better.

Sharp eye you have there fortbhoy, one or two bits of deerhair in the wrong way but I quite liked te effect so didn't cut them out although I swear they were all the same way round when I tied them in.

Nice flies Mark, really well tied. I think the detail of the fly is being sacrificed for artistic merit in the shots though. Ideally they should compliment each other, but one is slowly taking over from the other. If I were tying flies of that quality, I'd want to make sure it stood out above all else.

Aye, see what you mean stuart, just playing around with different things, I'll get it in the end I'm sure, but yes the closest fly gets all the attention and it would be better to give each fly equal footing....next time mate.
