Default green fluorescent yarn?

Hi All
Can anyone advise on what material i should be using for a viva tail? Gathercole's Fly-tying bible say green fluo yarn and i'm not sure what is best to buy. Looked on flea bay but not resolved. Have also watched Davie McPhail on the tube tying a viva and unfortunately i can't grasp the crucial part when he tell's you what he's using....
thanks, grey

Take a foot of Globrite Lime Green No12 double it 3 times and tie it in, brush it out and cut it to size when you've completed the fly.

I usually use Glowbrite No.12 for a floss tail, or some embroidery yarn from hobbycraft that was the same colour but cheaper and thicker it's available in all the flouro colours the make is DMC.

I often use flouro green marabou though for better mobility.

Personally I use a mix of Glo-brite numbers 11 & 12.
Usually 2 strands No11 to 1 strand of No12, folded to your preferred density and then tied in.
