Default Weaver vice

Hello chums I'm after a bit of info on the
Weaver rotary vice, I use there cheap and
cheerful and very good quality Type 2 vice
but fancy a rotary without having to pay a
fortune. Anyone use one or seen one any
help or advice as ever very greatfully received.

Sportfish list some Weaver vices ......

I am not sure they are still made.

Scotties come up for sale second hand from time to time.

Airedale angling used to stock them might be borth a call.

Weavers have ceased trading which is a shame as the vices are great entry level vices and very well made. I used a Weaver Wheel vice for around 10 years before I grew out of it. Eventually I wore the jaws out but only after several thousand flies.
The Scottie is a very similar vice to the Regal and works in the same way.
As said, they still pop up from time to time at Auctions of on ebay.
If you find one,I don't think you will go far wrong with it.

Cheers
