Jungle Cock

Can anybody advice me on the best & easiest way to split jungle cock before tying in as cheeks.

I would be happy to advice you, Flashback.

1. Remove Jungle Cock 'nail' from cape.
2. Place on flat hard surface.
3. Using the tip of your dubbing needle, or similar fine, sharp point, estimate middle of feather and push the tip of needle in at bottom end of feather and move towards top end. Tada!

Don't forget to check with your parents regarding work surface/sharp points.

If some of your nails are already split down the middle, then great. If some splits are a little lob-sided, then just split the wider side to match the other.

hi flashback, i find the easiest way is to cut down the middle with a sharp pair of scissors
