Default My first daddy snatcher

Well I had to give it a go after Scratch mentioned Davie McPhails tying of it, so having watched Davie tie it I decided to av a go at im (the fly that is not Davie ofcourse) Anyways this is my version of a daddy snatcher and probably has a few floors, i.e. wings too long, legs to long etc etc, but not bad for a first attempt and having to knot my own PT legs aaarrrghhh! and hopefully the next one will be an improvement.

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome

cheers

Not commented on your recent presentations as I was beginning to feel faintly ridiculous, with all the superlatives.

Like the snatcher, fun to tie.

I'm sorry if I'm teaching granny, but with the PT legs, if you knot loosely at the thick end, you can slide the knot down the leg to where you want it.

Thanks Bill, yes it was fun to tie as there are quite a few components to this one that tend to have you running for the whisky bottle and the number 9 bus to nuthouse central. I'm getting better at knotting but I am looking for some pre-knotted ones if anyone might be so nice as to recommend some good'nsbut thanks for the tip anyway.

Thanks Fred, I'd love to fish it on a river in Montana, maybe someday who knows, when pigs front legs evolve into wings perhaps....sigh

Oh, Sh*t. If it's any consolation, Mark, I fell for it too.
WTF, I enjoyed tying them.
