Default diawl bach

the weather here has been sh!t, high winds and torrential rain.
no chance of a cast so tied this simple wee bach
probably been done before but thought i'd share it

The Peacock is a little on the bulky side for my tastes Stevie, but it's a fine tie all the same.

Pictures starting to look nice and sharp now. Try and get some more light on the fly aswell and you'll have it cracked.

cheers scratch. i've only got a **** wee lamp, need to get myself a decent daylight lamp. i like my peacock herl like that as it flattens out in the water

Don't worry about daylight lamps mate... just go for tungsten, and set the white balance on your camera accordingly. You've probably got another lamp or two kicking about the house anyway? Get at least two on the case.... four is better Or, alternatively, try outdoors on cloudy day........ can't beat that great big bulb in the sky with a lovely natural diffuser covering it!
