I was tying some steel head patterns and decided to do a pattern in honor of 9/11

Was watching TV last night Laurie and was pretty upset by the sights of what happened that day. Wonder could your fly be a little more subdued? Fantastastic tying of course.

A lovely fly and I could put a spin on it for what it represents.
The red and blue throat could be the blue sky from where the plane came and the red the blood spilt, the long thin wing is the image of the towers, the jc could be the flames and finally the rib to represent the steel and fabric of the buildings.
A fly that will catch fish for sure.

Never thought of it that way. Very nice tribute.
Stuck in the house and fear watching TV in case we have more disasters reported.
