Default Some Flies

Ok guys, so I've only been tying seriously for a week or two. I've been tying basically lures for the last few months but quickly got bored of this.

All these flies are tied on kamasan B175 size 12's. Except for the Damsel thing lol. There not neat there not tidy, but I'm hoping there fish catchers.

Comments and criticism please...

Oh and go easy on me ;-).

Appologies for the pics, they were taken on my phone.

Cheers

They look like very good flies to me, only been fly fishing for a few weeks so I have basic knowledge about flies, but I am sure they are better than what I am going to acheive when I start tying (going to lessons with the Fly Dressers guild)

Keep Tying

All The Best, James

Cruncher - Tail too long and too bulky. Thin it down a bit. Also, it looks like you've used hen for the tail... should be cock. Hackle too long, and too many turns... looks like you've used cock.... should be hen

Lure - Nice body section, but the tail is wee bit bulky. A bit less marabou.

Daddy - try and get the wings to stand out at 90 degrees or so from the body.

Hopper -

All in all though, great work for a month or two's experience.
