Default Fly Tying Tuition

OK, so I have decided that I would rather go and learn fly tying from an expert in person, rather than youtube videos and tips on this forum, although that was very helpful. Does anyone know where I would be able to find Fly Tying tuition around the Lingfield area in Surrey, I found a course run by the Fly Dressers Guild for 6 weeks and low fee, which is great but it is in Ripley so quite far. Does anyone have any other ideas on where I could go without the high fees.

Thanks, James

Jon Reddin is Surrey based and AAPGAI qualified, he's a good lad and ties a tidy fly

Check the web to see if there is a Fly Tying club near to you. You could also check the Fly Dressers guild web site for any local clubs.

I have decided to book in with the Fly Dressing Guild, 6 sessions from the 19th September to 21st November, £3.50 each time, which I think is great.

Thanks for the advice given

All the Best, James

Hi, my Dad did ring the number on the page of the website but I am not sure who he spoke to but if you want us to ring again we will, if you mean me bringing any tools or anything i'm afraid I don't have anything yet, although it will be just me doing any fly tying, my dad will just be there to watch.

All the Best, James
