Sharpie. High quality markers, don't run at all.

Available from the usual sources. I got mine from asda.

I don't tie flies myself but can tell you that sharpie pens are probably one of the best, and can be bought almost anywhere that sells stationary, Even Davie McPhail uses them. Below is a link to his channel

DavieMcPhail's Channel - YouTube

Have a look through some of his videos, they are great just to watch even if I don't tie (hope to start soon), here is a video of a Lite Brite Buzzer where he uses a sharpie.

Hope this helps

James

I use the Letraset pens and have had no problems with them.

If you go with the Sharpie pens, pop down to Tesco. They're included in the 'Back to School' clobber and costing around £3 (pack of four).

I got a couple of pens from Piketrek last week which were pretty good.

Hi RJ ,
I just bought these :

Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: 10 Coloured Permanent Markers Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: 10 Coloured Permanent Markers

Great value & do the job perfect ! Some of the sharpie selection packs you get have colours you'll never use " this one covers the lot " .

Hope this helps
