Default half hitch weave

Had a wee squint at this method of producing a body on czech/polish nymphs.
Creates a good effect but it can only be used with the same colourd yarn.
Want to create the same effect but with a distinct top and bottom colouration.
Can just about manage the shuttle weave but it doesnt give the effect I am looking for.
Has anyone found any clips on You tube for example to show this?

Have a look at Lawrence Finney's wire-woven nymphs here:

The wire adds extra weight, which, used with a tungsten bead, makes the fly sink like a brick - ideal for Czech nymphing

Interesting but did a bit of squinting of my own. Would've been nice to have seen a close up of the finished product. For a better understanding of the technique.
