Default aerowing alternative

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to aerowing for making wing posts on para flies. I've got some white polyarn, veiniards I think, but its not very nice to work with. I've also got things like antron yarn but I guess that might be prone to getting waterlogged.

So, can anyone recommend something in a variety of colours that would fit what I'm looking for?

Cheers
Mot

mot,

The Flytying Boutique has a range of hi vis para post materials in great colours - nothing will float as well as Aero Dry Wing but this stuff is crinkly so traps air very well:

Flytying Boutique - for unusual and interesting materials

You will also need your sunglasses ... the colours are amazingly bright!

Kind regards

I use permanent markers on the polyarn if I want a different colour, but I agree, it's not nice to work with. Obviously I too need to get down to the pound shop.
