Default Scissors Vs Tiled floor.

My precious fine pointed scissors has met a sorry end having fallen nose first of worktop onto our newly tiled floor , its a right off ,totally banjaxed, so lads whats the best value out there at the moment, I do quite like the look of those sixth finger ,ergonomic ones, and I am not prepared to pay more then a score by the way . Thanks in advance . PJ

Paddy, not personally used the 'six finger' one but it's getting 'good press' on US based boards.

Paddy, try these, you will NOT be disappointed.
I was told about them from a top tyer on here, and it's the best £5.99 you'll spend, and free postage.

Should have gotten your foot under 'em. It does hurt a bit though!

Thanks Mr Trout I'll give those a go, plus a zinger as mentioned on the top tips thread might be worth considering. Thanks lads. PJ

The tips are quite fine Rob, the picture doesn't really do them justice.
I am no expert tyer as you know, but I find them just brilliant, VERY sharp right to the tip and fine enough for all the #32's I tie.
Seriously, good Japanese steel blades, and for £5.99 delivered they can be used to trim your toe nails as well.
They retail at about £13 in the shops but this lady has a cracking price on them.
I liked them so much, I bought a second pair.
