Czech nymphs

Making a start on a box of czech nymphs. The actual hooks are quite large as we know.
The thing is,a question to the nymphers out there, what is your default size??
Was thinking about the size 10 with 2 layers of stick back lead foil.
What do you recon????

Personally I prefer them on a size 14 B100, I know the profile is not perfect but can't bring myself to fish with something as enormous as the proper CN hooks lol.

I'm the same as Daniel. I just don't feel comfortable using size 10 hooks for nymphs.

kamason B110 size 12, all the time, great shrimp, buzzer and nymph hook, the slight difference in the curve of the hook matters little.

Nice tying Maharg. Wouldn't worry too much about the size, as Lighthouse says they definitely work even on large s10 hooks. I think the standard size for Czech Nymphs is 8-12.

More important to get the profile correct and you've achieved that admirably.
