Default Imbrie inspired

This wetfly took some inspiration from the pattern 'Imbrie' which has numerous variations, usually tied with peacock herl or black chenille at the butt, which I have left out on mine. I've also seen it tied with a jungle cock feather tied down each sde of the wings. and with white or yellow floss for the body (I've used pearsalls yellow no.5). Tied on a kamasan B175 size 12.

'Imbrie' inspired

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome

cheers

Lovely looking wet Mark! Have you tried wetting it yet? Just wondering how the yellow Pearsalls would look over the black underbody?

Keep them coming!! Your tying really encourages the rest of us duffers to keep trying. Just waiting for a package from Cookshill to arrive, so that I can attempt to replicate the elegance of these flies.

Please call him and tell him he is needed at home
He is a brilliant cook, but I am tired of hearing his voice and seeing his face!
