Default Soldier Hobbler

After a couple of weekends competition fishing I felt the need to cleanse the soul by fishing for wild brownies... with proper flies Took 11 fish of varying sizes, with all 11 falling to the Soldier Hobbler on the bob position. Couldn't buy an offer to anything I tried on the middle, and even put another Soldier on the tail, just to see........ nowt. Looks like it was more the manner in which it was being fished than the actual pattern - Kelly Green, short line, couple of pulls... lift...hold in the film... wallop! Pattern or technique, either way, they liked it, a lot.
