Default Ken Newton Bobbin Holder
I purchased some nice bobbin holders recently but the Ken Newton ceramic is fraying thread . I cannot see any obvious reason why this is happening. It is not happening with the same spool on TMC, Materelli or Dr Slick bobbins..

Anyone any experience using this bobbin?

Nope,but you could try gluing a small plastic or glass bead with hole in it to the end of tube

i would return it and replace it with another tiemco ceramic bobbin holder
