I too have been doing some of Jimmys great heather flies but with a silver fkashabou instead of the lurex stuff, i love yer flies you do ST, judging by the patterns youtie for levven, its a bit different than other places in the uk.

Liking the heather flies Andrew, I had a few on a black hopper with a red holo rib last week that were on the heather flies.

I don't know about Leven, but reckon that one would do fine on Grafham for the shrimp, and pretty much anywhere else for that matter.

Another nice pair of flies. Does the spidery one have a proper name or is it an original?

Very tidy flies, indeed. I fancy the last one, tied spider style for the rivers.
