Default Damsel nymph

Has anybody got a pattern for a "real" damsel nymph - as opposed to the lure type thingies - preferably suggestive rather than imitative.
Thanks

Bill, sorry I dont but...

Is this for the river or lakes? I was going to post a thread tonight to ask if anyone fishes an 'impression'of the Damsel Nymph for rivers... and then you ask for a pattern

Stillwaters. (I hope to get back to rivers next season) However a decent pattern should work on both.

I take it that the ganja breathing bogeyman hasn't got your mate yet?

Achht... There is something wrong with him, I'm sure.

We (me and my mate) spent 5 1/2 hours working our way down the river salmon fishing today. We had a car at two ends of a stretch. So we finished at a lovely pool where families play and swim.

Well.... that was it, he could smell it again... I told him it must be a bank herb / weed or something but he was sure it was ganja... As we got in thecar he declared that it was the family playing down by the pool.... The family with mum, dad, grandma, 3 year old child and dog!

Hi Bill1 ,
I've just done my first SBS for my clubs site this morning. It's one i've used for several years , but maybe too imitative?

Hi derek

Like that and sure it must catch a lot. I put eyes on perch and pike flies but apart from chain eyes on Cats, for some reason I just don't like putting eyes on trout flies. Just doesn't feel right.
If I keep on like this, I'll end up like richardw demanding dries only
