Cracker OO, loads of heather flies on the lake, thanks for your tips forr melvin by the way, i had well over 100 trout, 2 salmon and a trout fro the river that weighed 3 lb, for the lough, golden olive bumbles, sedgehogs, mosely may wulffs, green peter bumble, hot orange muddler, freshwater water shrimps, sooty olive, your wee melvin bumbke, viva pennels, dunkeld and my own tying - an irish kate - for the river it tended to be flies with a red ars, red tag, soldier palmers, zulus etc. but the sedge hatches at 10 ocolck at night were intense, also had several doule up so thanks for your advice
