You know what they say Bill-Practice makes perfect. I used to hate adding on wings-would use hair wings to avoid it, but eventually gave in and now my wings are fairly good-certainly a BIG improvement on when I started out! Unfortunately I don't have a camera to take pics of any samples so you'll just have to take my word for it.
