Default Voodoo Leech

Been wanting to get some of these tied up for Salmon and Steelhead season here in USA
I just got the materials today and knocked out the first Voodoo leech in Black with Red
Gonna be doing these in cerise/black, black/cerise, black/orange/ black/blue, black/chartreuse and black/yellow, black/pink and maybe some red/chartreuse and red/yellow too for steelies and salmon in fall...
i think this one turned out pretty well for the first time tying it.
Its articulated, but I will cut off the bend of the front hook!
I"m gonna do a step by step this week, if anyone is interested i'll post it when i'm done. So far i've been unable to find a step by step online anywhere, so this will be my interpretation of how it should be tied

Very nice but I was wondering how it looked when it got wet?

jeez you got any materials left after tying that one. Thats well different to anything I've seen on here and nice to see it, it must take some casting something like that. Well done and good to see something from the good old US of A

This is an easily accessible tie and is commercially available to buy
I literally used the following
2 hooks, Gamakatsu B10S size 1 and size 2
two bunches of red marabou
1 crosscut rabbit strip
1 dumbell eye
a (generous) pinch of Senyos Laser dub
and 3 inches of Powerpro braid to join the hooks.

I"m gonna do a Step By Step for the USA site, so i'll load it on here when its done too.

Its a pretty popular fly for salmon, steelhead, bass musky etc over here. i'm primarily using it for Salmon and steelhead. I suppose you could use it for pike too.

Its about 3.5 or 4 inches...i'd say its not much different to casting a lead head like a dog nobbler or such...

It certainly looks the type of big fly a steelhead would go for. A real pike killer I should think and even sea bass might go for that.
