Default selecting quality saddle/capes.

Where can i get information about selecting a good saddle?
How do i distinguish good from bad?
Natural or other?
Which are the most common used, best value?
The more i think about this the less i know.
Are there any You tube clips or tutorials about saddle/cape selection that you could recommend?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sug.

Not as straight forward as it seems.
So a number of points need to be asked

1. What kind of flies are you going to tie.
2. Size range of flies
3. Are we talking genetic saddles
4. As saddles are hard to come by at a reasonable price at the moment is there somewhere that you can get to look at them locally.

Worry more about grizzle capes ,seen the feathers now decorating boots and shoes for the ladies of Kensington, this as well as hair extensions.
Think will have to insure mine !
