Default Wolverine fur

Does anyone know of any fly patterns that specifically use wolverine fur?

It's just I have some hanging around that I could take a few 'snips' from...

Doesn't it have just way too much hair gel in it?

I guess its somewhere between squirrel and arctic fox - greyish brown with darkening to black tips. It came off the hood of an Antarctic smock that I had years back, the 'whispy' properties of the fur stop the ice from freezing on your face, it has traditionally been used on hoods for this purpose for some time.

You should try it in some hair wing patterns and see how it does if its long enough that is, if not possibly use it in some emerger patterns.

The hair wing thing is a definite, I think a few sea trout tubes will be furnished in the stuff - but to be honest I think sea trout would swipe at Kojak's lollipop stick if you stuck it in front of them at the right time
